Yoga Retreat at Zenbo Seinei with Sandra Fang 2025 English Information

Yoga Retreat at Zenbo Seinei with Sandra Fang — A Mindful Journey Through Yoga in Awaji Island

July 12th~13th, 2025 | Zenbo Seinei in Awaji Island

Step away from the noise of daily life and immerse yourself in the serene, peaceful atmosphere of Zenbo Seinei, a stunning architectural sanctuary nestled in the lush nature of Awaji Island.

Over these two days, we will gently explore the essence of mindfulness, integrating this awareness into three carefully curated yoga sessions. You’ll gain practical experience on how to cultivate and apply mindfulness in everyday life.

By breathing deeply in nature and spending time in quiet self-reflection, each moment of the retreat will lead to profound and enriching insights.

Not only will we share space and create meaningful memories with others, but we’ll also deepen our connection with ourselves —so that we may return to daily life with greater presence, clarity, and appreciation.

As Japan’s rainy season comes to an end, the city heat becomes intense and overwhelming—but at Zenbo Seinei on Awaji Island, the refreshing mountain breeze offers a soothing escape, gently cooling both the body and mind.

Whether you’re looking to deepen your yoga and mindfulness practice, restore balance, or simply take a conscious pause—this retreat welcomes all levels and open hearts.

Retreat Details

During this two-day retreat, Sandra will guide you through three yoga sessions.

We’ll dive into the essence of mindfulness, weaving its principles into our three yoga sessions, and explore how to integrate this awareness into our daily activities — allowing us to fully savor each moment of this extraordinary retreat experience.

Mindful Gentle Flow  Day 1 16:00~17:20
Begin your retreat with a gentle, welcoming yoga practice designed to ease the body and mind after your journey to Awaji Island. Sandra will guide you through soothing movements suitable for all levels, helping you release travel fatigue and settle into the peaceful surroundings. She will also introduce practical ways to cultivate mindfulness throughout the retreat, setting the tone for a deeply nourishing experience.

Evening Yin & Mindfulness Day 1 20:20~21:30
As the day winds down, join Sandra for a gentle and calming yin yoga and mindfulness practice designed to soothe the nervous system and melt away the tensions of the day. In this peaceful evening session, we will weave the 7 attitudes of mindfulness into our yin practice, allowing you to slow down, soften, and reconnect with your inner stillness. Let this quiet, nurturing space support you in turning inward, settling the mind, and preparing for a deep and restful night’s sleep.

Morning Vinyasa Flow Day 2 6:30~7:50
After a restful night, awaken your body and mind with an invigorating vinyasa flow designed to energize and uplift. This active practice will help you cultivate clarity and vitality, leaving you refreshed and centered as you prepare to return to your everyday life.

Nestled quietly in the mountains of Awaji Island, Zenbo Seinei features a 100-meter wooden deck enveloped in the scent of wood and serene spaces that exude the warmth of Japanese cedar. The simple yet refined rooms are illuminated by natural light and breeze, gently restoring your spirit. Away from the city’s hustle, spend time simply “being” in this tranquil setting.

Zenbo Cuisine utilizes the blessings of Awaji Island, focusing on fermentation and seasonal ingredients. Free from animal products, wheat flour, oil, and refined sugar, each gentle dish allows you to surrender to nature’s bounty. With every bite, feel your body and mind align, senses clarifying. This “eating meditation” nurtures inner tranquility—please savor it slowly.

Attune your senses to the aroma, temperature, and flavor during ZEN Tea, bringing your heart naturally to the present moment. Taking up the brush in ZEN Calligraphy initiates a moving meditation, releasing unnecessary thoughts and fostering deep inner peace. Both practices offer gentle, profound moments to connect with yourself and cherish the “now.”
